For this project, I was inspired by the Sashiko technique through different styles of sewing pieces together. I was tasked with creating a new style of clothing by tearing apart old shirts and jeans to stitch onto another piece of clothing, thus creating a variety of patterns and pieces of fabric, all using different techniques of Sashiko sewing.
